8 Bump-Friendly Bikinis
I am just about 19 weeks pregnant and I figured it was time to get prepped for the summer with some bump-friendly bikinis… as it’s pouring rain outside today, hah! I typically love high-waisted bikinis but unless they’re actual maternity swimsuits, they don’t typically work well with a growing bump. And of course, most of you are not pregnant right now so I wanted to show off some trending summer swimsuits that lots of you may love too… even without a bump ;)
A couple things about everything I’m wearing:
They’re all size medium and I’m typically a small but sized up for that growing bump…and growing everywhere else too! I’ll quickly mention fit on each of them as I’d recommend not sizing up on some and recommend sizing up on some of them even without a bump too!
They’re all Amazon swimsuits… my love for Amazon continues to run deep!
Some aren’t my favorite but I wanted to show you them anyways because of course we all have different tastes and styles and likes and dislikes so just because I may not love one, doesn’t me you don’t won’t love it too! I did a try on over on my Instagram stories and mention what I do and don’t love about each but always remember, that’s just my opinion and my opinion only!

This bump-friendly bikini comes in a ton of colors (I have a brown and black one too!) and is definitely one of my favorites! I’d definitely recommend sizing up with a bump as the waistband and band around the ribs are both on the tight side and I’m only 18 weeks pregnant at the moment (almost 19 weeks). The fabric on this one is ribbed which I LOVE too!
This one was totally out of my comfort zone when I ordered it but I really wanted to get some variety in there to show you all but once I put it on I fell in LOVE!! The top can tighten as much as you’d like — you wrap it around yourself and tie it in the back so size doesn’t matter much there and the bottoms, which are cinched at the seam, are ones that I’m glad I sized up on for future bump growth but it definitely wasn’t necessary. And without being pregnant, the mediums would have been too large on me for sure!
Okay so I am totally obsessed with these colors. I spent so much time trying to choose which colors to choose because they have a bunch of options on this one too! You cannot tighten the top so if you are smaller chested like me, definitely do not size up. Right now, the medium is almost a bit too large for comfort (I may feel the need to pull it up constantly) but I know my milk will start coming in so it should be just fine! But I’d definitely go for a small if I was not pregnant!
This is another favorite bikini for sure which I am absolutely keeping! It’s the prettiest purple with a ribbed fabric (they have other color options too!) but it isn’t showing up in the photos nearly as vibrant and beautiful as it is in person so click on that link to see the true color — just beautiful! I am glad I sized up to a medium on this one and honestly I think medium would be fine if I weren’t pregnant too!
This one isn’t love for me but then again, I’m never the biggest fan of red on me so it may be for you! And also, the color I ordered was called “redwood” which was more of a purple/mauve so I think they just sent me the wrong color on accident. But check their color options if you like this style because they’ve got a ton of colors. If you are bigger chested, the top probably won’t work too well because of how narrow it is and I just don’t feel like it flattered me but the back is super cute too with those double straps! A small probably would have been better for this one.
I cannot figure out if I like this one or not — in person I did not like it but looking back at the photos I feel like it’s more flattering and cute than I felt in it?? If that’s makes any sense at all. The fabric has a super pretty shimmer to it — no sparklers, just a but of shine on there! This one is the highest waisted of them all and I definitely should have gone with the small here. I love the coverage and to me, it looks flattering on too!
This was another one that just wasn’t love for me. The bottoms were a bit too cheeky for my taste but that criss cross in the front is super cute! I don’t feel like the top flattered me either but I did love this pretty olive green color on! I’d recommend NOT sizing up on this one — a small would have fit me better, even while pregnant.
This is another one I wasn’t too sure about but ended up liking it less on than in the photos. The top just did not flatter my chest, in my opinion. The top is drawstring so you can tighten the boob area as much or as little as you need to fit your own chest and the sleeves are this super light, almost sheer fabric which a pretty design but I think it just wasn’t my style. It’s got super cheeky bottoms too which I didn’t love but was pretty on the model ;)
