Ashley got in a car accident at 16, making her paralyzed from the waist down. She was grateful for the ability to live, but it was was difficult to start life over, having to learn to do everything again. She met "D" at therapy (he also got in a similar accident) and they decided to start a family together. Little "M" was born over a year ago and they did a special family photo session and baby cake smash to celebrate!

They are such an inspirational family and I loved spending the day getting to know their story. I even took a ride with them in their modified sedan with the wheelchairs in the trunk. They even have a modified car seat for little "M" that spins so that they can get him while they are still sitting in the front seat.
