I'm not even going to say how long it's been since we've purchased a new mattress. We've replaced mattress topper after mattress topper but even thinking about purchasing a new mattress was always just a headache waiting to happen.

Or at least that's what I thought.

You know, you have to buy the mattress, strap it to the top of your car, hope it doesn't fall off on the freeway, stop half way home to tighten the ropes, drive 15 miles an hour in a 45mph zone to ensure you make it home alive....you know how it goes.

Or at least that's how my last mattress purchase went.

So the thought of doing all of that and doing all of that with a baby in tow just wasn't even something to consider. And then I discovered the coolest new trend and jumped on it (LITERALLY)...

Mattress in a Box . Yes, it's a thing. And it's a real life thing and it's the coolest thing ever. Basically, my Tomorrow bed in a box was delivered to my doorstep, I opened it up, slid it onto our bed frame, cut the plastic open and it began to grow, just like those fun little "grow your boyfriend" toys we used to play with when we were little.

Want to know the hardest part? Getting Baxter to stop jumping on the bed while I was attempting to get my old mattress out of there. (And I caught it all on video...it was like a circus in here)

I know you may think a Tomorrow boxed mattress un-boxing may be a boring video to watch, but we sure did have some fun. Just wait until you get to the Baxter part...
