OOTW | Kids Gauchos + A Black Jumpsuit

Last weekend we had a beach trip on Saturday and it was glorious -- just glorious. And then Sunday rolled around and I thought to myself, "This is great! Ava and I are going to spend every single day at the beach this week and it's going to be the best week ever." I stayed up super late on Sunday night getting tons of work done for the week and I was stoked for a week full of beach trips. And then I woke up on Monday morning and that weather said to me, "You know what Jenn, we can't really make up our mind so we're just gonna give you sun but with lots of wind."

Yep, so much sun and blue skies but with all of that wind, we're at about 60 degrees over here and I don't know about you, but beachin' it in 60 degree weather and crazy winds doesn't sound fun. So here we are, another week at home watching Trolls on repeat.

All of you with snow in your backyards are probably rolling your eyes at me right about now but I swear, my skin and my bones do not know how to handle 60 degrees when my mind is yelling "beach!" Long story short (well, I guess that story wasn't so short after all), the weather can't make up it's mind so our featured outfits are made for this crazy can't-make-up-my-mind kind of weather and I'll tell you why --

Ava's rocking the most darling kids gaucho pants and a simple white kids tank top. That way if the weather is too cold for her little body, we can throw on a cardigan or a jacket and her outfit still looks fab! Of course she's wearing her favorite sunglasses (one of her 6 favorite kids sunglasses), the most darling little kids huarache sandals and my favorite black kids turban. Aren't these just the perfect cute kids clothes for Spring?

And then for me -- I'm rocking a black women's jumpsuit that's super lightweight for warm weather but looks so darling when you layer it up! I love wearing a tee shirt or a long sleeve shirt under the cute jumpsuit or I even throw on cardigans or jackets over and I'm set for the wind. I've dressed it up with a tear-drop choker necklace and then those tan women's sandals are just the cutest, huh?
