Our kids and grandkids and their kids and grandkids are going to be on this Earth far longer than we are. And as adults, WE are the ones dictating how we are going to leave this planet for them to live on for years to come.

Don’t you want what’s best for your kids? Don’t you want them to live on an Earth as beautiful as the one you live on? So I’ve got a list of 5 very simple things you can do in your home to help make this world a better place for future generations — for OUR kids and grandkids and great great grandkids and beyond!

 1.      Unplug + Unplug

 Nope, that wasn’t a typo. When your phone chargers, computer chargers, and lamps and really anything that is plugged into an outlet isn’t in use, unplug it from the wall. Even if it’s not charging a device or even if the lamp is turned off, it’ll continue to use energy.

Unplug from your devices. Set a time for yourself so you stop scrolling and browsing when the timer goes off. The less time you’re on your computers and tablets and phones, the less charging time they’ll need!

2.      Lower Your Brightness

Lower the brightness on your devices (tv included) to use less energy and have to charge those devices less.

3.      Eco-Friendly Products + Reusable Packaging 

 We use soap every day, multiple times a day. We run the dishwasher constantly and as parents, the laundry seems to never end. And then there’s the cleaning of the counters, messy finger prints off the mirrors and windows and just, messes all around. Every bottle of all purpose spray, tub of dishwasher or laundry detergent and every plastic dish soap bottle or plastic hand soap dispenser we use is one more way we can so simply and easily help change the future of this Earth.
