I know I’m a little late to the party and it’s already November and no one needs family Halloween costume ideas at this point but I couldn’t not publish a blog because… memories. And once I pin this to Pinterest it can continue circling around the internet until next year because this was such a fun one!

When we were all discussing family Halloween costumes, no one could agree on anything. Some of the kids wanted K Pop Demon Hunters (I did not because I knew the whole rest of the world would be doing that and I was right!) and some other ideas thrown out were Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Harry Potter and Star Wars. After literal months of discussing, no one could agree so I figured that was the end of pour family Halloween costumes.

But a couple weeks before Hallowen Mac said he wanted to be a minion - he’s very into minions right now. I was like ohhh that’s so cute and easy too! I asked Hayes and he agreed. Frank asked Franky on his way home from school and he immediately wanted to be the purple minion. Perfect!

Ava did not agree (she wanted to be a ballerina puppy) but agreed to at least dress up with us for a family photo and then wear her own costume on Halloween. Fair enough and a great compromise for this mama who doesn’t ever want to give up family Halloween Costumes.

And then we had a couple of extra little minions in there too - Abby our cat and Krispy our chicken. They were so cute! Kitten sweaters and chicken overalls? Yes please!
