My First Time Using Peel & Stick Wallpaper | Big Boys' Room
Please take a moment to scroll down and look at those before photos of the big boys’ room. Like OH MY GOSH. I had no idea in a million years how much of a difference wallpaper would make. Like I was stoked to try the peel & stick wallpaper for the very first time (yes, this was my first time doing it ever!) but I had no idea how incredible it would make the room look – like totally transformed!
But the process – barely a learning curve. Seriously the easiest thing. I mean… the edges were hard at first but the cool thing about peel & stick is that if you mess up or need to adjust, you literally just pull it up and re-start. I did the whole entire room in just two days (of course just working a couple hours each day) and I was truly shocked at how simple it was. So if you’re new to wallpapering or you’re looking for the best type of wallpaper for renters, I highly recommend this peel and stick wallpaper from Anewall.
They have tons of super cute prints but of course in true Jenn fashion, I wanted to go with something a bit more subtle. I just wanted to add a little texture (well, the look for texture) to the room without having it be too bold. The big thing I go for when designing the rooms in our home is to really make everything feel tranquil, elevated, calming and especially in the kids rooms I really want to make sure they are rooms the kids can grow with for years! And I’m patting myself on the back for this one because I absolutely love how it all came together.
I’ll be showing off the final room and all of the little details but today, we’re just giving this beautiful neutral wallpaper a moment – and a standing ovation. I’ll link this exact wallpaper for you but take a peek at their website because they have so many beautiful options!
FYI - The boys’ room does not have the best lighting so it looks a bit more peach in these photos than it truly is in person and I struggled to capture that. But it’s the most beautiful mix of whites, tans and neutrals and I’ve got some close up photos in here too!
