25 Weeks Pregnant Belly | Funny Pregnancy Shirt of the Week
25 weeks and I had to take the dreaded glucose test. You know, I don’t really mind that sugary drink much — I got tropical punch flavor instead of orange this time so it appears they’re stepping up their game! That was yesterday and I already woke up to my test results:
PASS
Thank goodness, because I failed it with Ava and that three hour glucose test just about killed me!
Bad news? I’m slightly anemic, which apparently is something that happens to pregnant women and actually happened to me right after I delivered Ava. It’s no big deal — I’ll just eat more iron-rich foods and take iron supplements but the good news? Baby steals all of the iron first so there aren’t any harmful side affects to him! And that’s what matters the most 😊
I’ve officially got to pee at least 7 times an hour, we finally got to turn on our heater for the first time (Yayy cold(Er) weather, and I still have that crazy upper right rib pain that keeps me up at night but hey, I’ve been getting a lot of work done from bed so I guess it’s a blessing in disguise?
And then lastly, Ava’s started to get baby jealous which makes me so sad. It may be the fact that we stayed with her baby cousin for a week last week or the fact that we talk about baby boy all the time with her but she started saying “Me still a baby” over and over and yes, she’s still my baby but it breaks my heart to think that this may be a jealousy thing. You’ll always be my baby, Ava Sue.
And now for our pregnancy shirt of the week because this week, the constant peeing commenced: Here we glow again!
