Girls Dream Closet Transformation
Ava’s room was a complete disaster – like epic disaster always. She loves crafting and she loves Barbie’s and we all know that those two things involve lots of pieces, lots of little pieces.
Every evening she plays before bed and every morning I’d wake up and cringe at the mess I saw. Yes, she was responsible for cleaning it up (she’s nine) but also, I didn’t make it easy on her. Nothing had a place and because of that, clean up was overwhelming for her. I mean, that would be overwhelming for me too!
And so, I knew I needed to change it. I needed to organize - a spot for everything she owns so that clean up would be quick and easy and not so daunting and spoiler alert: it worked.

Not only is it organized now, but of course I had to make it the cutest girls closet you ever did see while I was at it.
The bow curtains.
The floral wallpaper.
That pink rug.
The fancy tall dresser.
The rattan light fixture.
And BASKETS. Lots of baskets. And pretty ones at that!
I made sure that every single detail was totally her and absolutely darling and ahhh now I need to do my closet.
