Kid-Designed Back-to-School Backpacks
I truly cannot believe it but weβre nearing the end of summer break (boooo!) and that means itβs time to get ready for the school year. So many parents complain about all the back to school stuff β the backpacks, the lunches, the supplies, the curriculum, the new clothes to fit them β but this mom right here loves it. Itβs all just so fun for me and this year, itβs even more fun for the kids because I had the best idea!
Every year we find the most darling backpacks for the kids, like a squeal with excitement kind of love. And if youβre new here, we do homeschool (going on our 4th consecutive year - 5th year total) but the kids go into school one day a week at the cutest little farm school there was. This gives us the flexibility that we love so much from a homeschool environment, but they also get that conventional in school experienceβ¦ with cows and alpacas and chickens and goats and bunnies and more, right there with them. Yes, Iβm jealous.
But letβs get back to the backpack top because this idea I had is probably one of my best ideas:
Kid-Designed Backpacks
So as I was scrolling through the backpacks this year, I saw the option for having iron on patches and thatβs when it hit me. βIβm going to let the kids design their own backpacks this year, wi
And so I bought a whole bunch of patches that I thought theyβd like, a backpack and lunchbox for each of them, and they got to designing!
I mean, the backpacks on their own are absolutely darling but look how cute they turned out designed by the kids - adorable right?!
I linked all of the backpacks, patches, lunchboxes, reusable canisters for lunches and key chains so you can scroll through all the patches and select the ones your kids love, whether itβs soccer, snakes, rainbows or cats, there are dozens and dozens to choose from for the most adorable personalization you ever did see.
Happy designing, kiddos!
