One thing lead to another and we have a new living room!! Well, a lot of it is new. Here’s what happened (and I’m so glad it did)…

We got new accent chairs (that I ended up hating in the space) and since they were larger, I realized our coffee table felt just way too big. So I went on the hunt for a coffee table. Then I was like okay, I really need to get these chairs out of here - they irked me. So I sold them and found new brown swivel chairs. Then I realized the pillows just didn’t fit anymore so new accent pillows came to join our home. And then I was like hmmm, this chandelier just isn’t the vibe - so I replaced it.

And I love it so much. It’s not huge and it’s nothing crazy but whenever I look at this space now I just feel like I’m home. It’s cozy and neutral and calming and ahhh I just love being in here. I mean, that’s how your own home should feel, right?

Well one thing lead to another and now I’m starting to make updates all around our home — I’ve added curtains, I’m starting wainscotting in the entryway hallway this weekend (any hopefully some lights too!), I want to change up our fireplace, we got a new dining table and new kid-friendly dining chairs and you better bet I’m thinking up ways to make this our HOME (3.5 years later) everywhere I look.
