Cute Party Favor Idea: Adopt-A-Pet Station
This is the first year that Mac has wanted a birthday party. He’s turning three! But he doesn’t go to school and doesn’t play sports so really, doesn’t have any of his own friends beyond the friends of his siblings (many of which are our neighbors). Lucky for me, Hayes’ birthday is only a few weeks apart so this year we decided on a joint birthday party!
Now here’s the thing…
There will be a very wide range of kids here at their birthday, ranging from a year to 9 years old so that means I really had to come up with birthday party ideas that worked well for all of these ages - party favor ideas, birthday games and party activities.
I’m still working on the games and activity part of things but I came up with the cutest birthday party favor idea of all time. Like cutest cutest cutest. My kids are honestly more excited for the party favors than they are for the birthday itself.
Mom wins! (cue the round of applause)
And here it is…
Adopt-A-Pet Party Favors
I mean, it would've been really freaking fun if I sent home live puppies and kittens and lizards but we all know that the goldfish prizes are every mom’s worst nightmare so I stuck to the stuffed animals, and small stuffed animals at that.
Yes, moms. I’ve got your sanity in mind too!
But look what we added - adoption certificates for the kids to fill out, little tote bags for them to put them in and a photo station for the memories. And the little party hats - are you kidding me??
So cute, right? I think so and my kids do too. And my kids are ages 2, 4, 6 and 9 and they ALL had a blast with this so I can guarantee yours will too. And so much better than little knick knacks that’ll just get tossed in a day.
I linked everything here for you. You’re welcome to steal the entire set up from me and in fact, it would make me so happy if you did. I’m really proud of this one ;)
